The set at Republic Airport was closed to public while the crew filmed in heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday.

According to a representative at SONY, "an action-packed episode," was being filmed. In the episode, the Pan Am jetliner has to make an emergency landing in a Caribbean nation and the crew tries to save a man's life in the midst of a government takeover by rebel forces.

Republic Airport was chosen over other local airports like MacArthur or JFK because it is more production-friendly and was a location "that matched the needs in the script." The series normally shoots interior shots at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn and exteriors around the boroughs.

The air date of the episode filmed in Farmingdale has not yet been set.
