Adventureland Hosts Annual Islanders Children's Foundation Day

Meet hockey players and support a good cause this weekend in Farmingdale.

The New York Islanders will be in Farmingdale this Sunday for the team's third annual Children’s Foundation Day at

This family event benefits ICF, a fund established in 2003 that contributes to various nonprofits across Long Island supporting children.

On Sept. 25, fans will get access to all players and coaches as well as unlimited access to all rides in the park from open until close.

Season ticket holders can enter the park starting at 9 a.m. and will be given exclusive access to an autograph session with the players from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Admission bracelets are a $20 donation to the ICF.

All other Islanders fans can arrive at the park at 11 a.m. and will also have the chance to meet the players and get autographs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For all interested fans, bracelets will be $25.

In the occasion of inclement weather, any cancellation will be posted on the team’s website by 8 a.m. the morning of Sept. 25.
