Albany Ave. Student Wins Competition

Sean Caillias won first place in a contest sponsored by Sen. Kemp Hannon.

Sean Caillias, a student at , was recently awarded first place in Sen. Kemp Hannon’s 2011 “There Ought to Be a Law” competition.

Caillias’s proposed law was on the topic of pool safety and read “A person should have an I.D. to show that he had or she had swimming lessons before entering a public pool.”

At Levittown Hall in Hicksville, the first place winners from each school were presented with an award by Senator Hannon.
