Albany Avenue Students Elect Student Council Officers
The election coincided with the national/local races in November.
held a Meet the Student Council Candidates for assembly in conjunction with the elections in November.
The Student Council is made up of fourth and fifth grade students who are elected by the student body. Students interested in being in office campaigned over a period of several weeks which culminated with the assembly, where they presented speeches.
All students in fourth and fifth grade got to vote for one person in each office. The votes were then tabulated and Mr. Valentine, the principal of Albany Avenue.

The new officers of Student Council are: Brandon Carbone as president, Brian Hayden as vice president, Nicole Manfredo as secretary, and Anthony Raffaele as treasurer. The Student Council co-advisors are Mr. Kevin Schwab and Mrs. Pat Dejewski.
