Crime Report: Fired Employee, Mischief

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Farmingdale.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department, Nassau County Police Department, and New York State Police Troop L.  It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests:

  • Kevin Nani, 20, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Oct. 29 on Hicksville Road near the Southern State Parkway in North Massapequa and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • Jorge Hernandez, of East Farmingdale, was arrested for a domestic violence situation on Oct. 27. 
  • Eginald Woods, of Wyandanch, was arrested in Farmingdale on Oct. 26 for assault with the intention to cause physical injury.

  • Criminal mischief was reported on Oct. 30 on Madison Street and on Oct. 31 on Garden Street and Kevin Street.
  • On Oct. 28, reports state that a terminated employee struck his former supervisor in the face several times at a location on Allen Blvd.
  • On Nov. 3 at 10:05 p.m., a state trooper stopped a white Acura for going 86 mph in a 55 mph zone and for failing to signal lane change on the eastbound side of the Southern State Parkway near exit 30, the police report said. While interviewing the driver, Michael Blythe, age 23, of Connecticut, the trooper observed that he gave conflicting stories about where he was going and where he was coming from.  The report said that during a search of the vehicle, 12 narcotic pills identified as Suboxones were found in the center console. The defendant was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations.
