Farmingdale Firefighter Injured at Bethpage Blaze
Crews were called to help with a house fire on Wilson Lane that caused heavy damage.
A South Farmingdale firefighter was injured Saturday morning assisting at a fire in Bethpage.
The smoky mid-morning fire did heavy damage to a home on Wilson Lane and set nearby power lines ablaze.
Both the and ladders were called to assist the Bethpage firefighters. A South Farmingdale firefighter suffered a larceration and was transported to the hospital.

The fire, which appeared to do substantial damage to the two-story home, was reported shortly after 9 a.m., and was knocked down and brought under control quickly.
