Farmingdale Girls Lacrosse Heads to County Final

The team defeated Baldwin 18-6 Thursday.

The Farmingdale girls lacrosse team will head to the Nassau County Class AA championship game next week, after a 18-6 semifinal win over Baldwin on Thursday.

Kim Kolodny had six goals and one assist, Kelly McPartland had four goals and three assists and Nadine Hadnagy had one goal and two assists.

Baldwin's Allie Rodgers scored the four of the team's six goals. Farmingdale goalie Alexandra Gurecki had five saves and Baldwin's Caroline Winters had 14 saves.

No. 1 seeded Farmingdale (16-1) will play No. 2 Massapequa in the county championship on Wednesday at Hofstra University.
