Farmingdale Native Named Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Stony Brook

Kim Hillier will be an assistant coach for the Stony Brook women's lacrosse team this season.

Stony Brook University women's lacrosse head coach Joe Spallina named Farmingdale native Kim Hillier as an assistant coach for this season.

"I have known Kim for a long time and bringing her aboard was an absolute no-brainer," Spallina said. "Kim is someone who is a true competitor and will never be out worked. She will demand and get 100 percent from our team every day."

Hillier comes to Stony Brook after three seasons as an assistant coach at Long Island University in Brooklyn. Prior to that, Hillier had a standout career at Hofstra, finishing as the school's all-time leader in assists (82) and second in points scored (215).
