Farmingdale Resident Honored by Hospice Care Network

Linda Gale has worked in Hospice Care for 15 years.

Farmingdale resident Linda Gale was recently honored at the Hospice Care Network's Annual Board Meeting held in Manhasset. 

Gale has served as an HCN Team Manager for the past 15 years.

At the event, Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen M. Rice shared her personal experience with hospice and expressed her appreciation for the staff that "bring dignity to patients during their final days."

Patrick R. Edwards, the newly elected Chairman of the Board, and Maureen Hinkelman, President & CEO, recognized past officers and presented special awards to The Fay J. Lindner Foundation and The Miracle Foundation for their significant support of the organization. 

A Team Award was presented to Sarah and Damian Zusi, for producing a video about HCN's children’s bereavement camp.  The children share their journey through grief to a safe place by using the tools they learned at the HCN's children's bereavement program. Also honored were community physicians, Board Trustees and staff members celebrating milestone anniversaries with Hospice Care Network.
