Farmingdale Resident Named to Winthrop Hospital Post

Annette Marinaccio is the new assistant vice president of Physician Practice Management at the hospital.

Farmingdale resident Annette Marinaccio has been named assistant vice president of Physician Practice Management at Winthrop-University Hospital.

"This is such an exciting and challenging time to be a part of the healthcare industry and our medical community," said Marinaccio. "As the Long Island and Queens healthcare landscape evolves, I am honored to be a part of the wonderful team at Winthrop-University Hospital."

Marinaccio joins Winthrop after 23 years at NRAD Medical Associates (formerly Nassau Radiologic Group) where she served as Chief Executive/CFO. There, she was responsible for leading the private physician practice through generations of ownership, expansions and acquisitions.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Binghamton University and subsequently became a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.

Marinaccio was named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business by Long Island Business News in 2005, is a founding member of Long Island’s Financial Executive Women (FEW) and is a member of the Healthcare Leaders of New York and the Medical Group Management Association.
