High School Business Students Honored

Long Island Business Teacher Association awarded seven Farmingdale High School students.

Seven students were recognized for their academic achievements at the Long Island Business Teachers' Association Luncheon on Thursday.

Saniya Khan, this year's salutatorian, came in first place in the Math & Financial Applications category and won the Long Island Business Teachers' Association's Ellen Caskey Scholarship, which is awarded to only one Long Island student.

Rahul Roy placed first in Computer Applications, Melody Mennen came in third in Business Law, Dustin Feynman came in fourth in Sports Marketing, Katie Ciccarelli same in fourth in Entrepreneurship, Brendan Henry came in fourth in Business Communications and Jonathan Randacciu came in fifth in Business Law.

LIBTA hosts the annual competition each spring at Commack High School, where the students can demonstrate their knowledge and creativity in a variety of course related contests.
