Stew Leonard's manager Stephen Vaughan said Sorrentino was "friendly" and that the night was very busy.

"This Saturday is always the busiest of the year and having him here just enhanced that," Vaughan said.

Anna Zebrowska and Emily Trypoc came from West Babylon to meet Sorrentino.

"We're obsessed with the show," Zebrowska said. "Pauly D. is our favorite but we still wanted to meet Mike."

Sorrentino's visit isn't Farmingdale's first connection to Jersey Shore. Show creator SallyAnn Salsano, who runs 495 Productions named after the LIE, is from Farmingdale.
