More Crazy Donkey Shows Rescheduled

Nutty Irishman, Ollies Point and the new Paramount in Huntington have taken the shows.

Concert promoters have rescheduled the remaining fall shows at to other venues in Farmingdale and across Long Island.

The Oct. 13 Mayday Parade show and the Oct. 25 Circa Survive show will be at  in Farmingdale. Circa Survive will now be on Oct. 29.

The Oct. 29 Stephen Pearcy of Ratt show and the Nov. 5 L.A. Guns show will be at Ollies Point in Amityville. The Nov. 30 As I Lay Dying show will be at The Paramount in Huntington.

Previously Crazy Donkey publicist Rick Eberle had announced other rescheduled shows. The Ace Frehley Long Island location and date was changed to Mulcahy's in Centereach on Oct. 30. Tickets are available online at Clubloaded.com and the Mulcahy's box offices in Wantagh and Centereach.

Tickets already purchased to the canceled Ace Frehley Crazy Donkey show on Oct. 29 will be honored at Mulcahy's on Oct. 30.

The Good Rats Reunion concert that was originally slated for the Crazy Donkey on Dec. 3 was moved to Ollies Point in Amityville and the date has not changed. All Crazy Donkey tickets will be honored at the door. Will Call will be at Ollies and tickets will remain available for Ollies online at Clubloaded.com.

The hosted its last show Sept. 18. It closed due to lower attendance because of the economy and higher insurance rates and rent, according to co-owner Gus Semertgis.

The sudden closure left promoters scrambling to find other Long Island venues for the Crazy Donkey's full schedule of fall shows. The Crazy Donkey opened in 2002 and has hosted hundreds of since, featuring bands like Brand New to House of Pain.
