National Grid Responds to Gas Leak on Conklin

Nassau Police closed down the road briefly Sunday morning.

A gas leak on Conklin Street caused to close down the road Sunday morning.

According to police, a natural gas leak occurred at bar at 385 Conklin Street at 10:30 a.m.

Conklin was closed between Main Street and Elizabeth Street until around 11 a.m.

Utility workers at the scene would not comment about the details of the leak.
