Police: 'False Alarm' in East Farmingdale

Suspicious objects found on train tracks are not a threat.

The suspicious devices found in East Farmingdale have been deemed non-threatening, according to the Suffolk County Police.

The objects were located on New Highway on the train tracks and were described as "three large objects with wires on their ends."

Suffolk County Police reported to the scene and discovered that the objects were actually flares. The situation was declared a false alarm.
