Police: Teller Stole from Farmingdale Bank

Bank lost more than $9,000, police said.

Nassau County police arrested an Amityville woman on Thursday and charged her with stealing several thousand dollars from a Farmingdale bank.

According to detectives, 23-year-old Angelina Grayson, who was employed as a teller at  located at 14 Conklin Street, stole more than $9,000 over the course of the last week.

The Crimes Against Property Squad reported she removed several thousands of dollars from her teller’s drawer on Jan. 10 and then again on Jan. 17.

The defendant is charged with grand larceny in the third degree. She was arraigned at the First District Court in Hempstead on Jan 19.
