School Assembly Fights Bullying

Lexxi Saal visited Albany Avenue Elementary.

Students at the in the Farmingdale School District recently learned how harmful bullying is through an exciting musical assembly from Long Island’s own Lexxi Saal.

Saal engaged students about the emotional difficulties that evolve from being bullied and performed her song, “Gossip Girl,” which she wrote to teach students on how gossiping is a form of bullying. 

Saal was a victim of bullying and has become an activist against it. She recently performed at Action Long Island's involving more than 2,500 students from 30 different schools. The keynote speaker for the event was Jamie Isaacs.

Both Saal and her sister spread awareness of the emotional damages that bullying can cause. She has also founded LexxiLoves.org and is active with Beatitbully.com.
