Earlier in the day, there was an Arts in Education assembly titled "The Brain Show," where students answered age-appropriate questions about math, science, English and social studies. The kids then encouraged their parents and neighbors to attend later that evening, where families teamed up to answer trivia questions about science and math, foreign languages, politics, television, pop music and movies.

“The Brain Show” used real buzzers, bright lights, loud music and sound effects to make everyone feel as if they were on a real television game show. In order to win the Brainiac Medal, each team had to accumulate 300 points.
