Students Nominated for NYSSMA

More than ten student musicians in the Farmingdale School District have been recognized by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) by being nominated for the All State NYSSMA Competition.
In October the students will receive the music they will perform at the NYSSMA Conference in December.

Saltzman East Memorial Hosts Open House
The school hosted an open house on Sept. 13, where PTA president Stacie DeRosa, third vice president Christine DiVuolo and SEM alum Kieran DeMaria collected PTA memberships.
Second vice president JoAnn Hunt, council delegate Marisa Recine and Lisa Stanton worked the table at the bake sale.
