South Farmingdale Fire Department Sponsors Poster Contest
The contest is part of the annual fire prevention week.
Entries are being accepted for the 's annual fire prevention poster contest.
The contest consists of four age categories (preschool, K-2, 3-5, 6-8). All posters must be on standard size poster paper (27x41) and the theme of the poster must be "protecting your family from fire."
The back side of all submissions must include the name, grade, phone number, school and teacher of the child. Entries are due to the South Farmingdale Fire Department by Nov. 30. Posters can be dropped off Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. or Sundays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Winners will be notified by the chief of department by Dec. 15.
