Monday morning at the , residents were glad the al-Qaida leader is gone, but had some lingering questions surrounding his death.

Resident Greg Lupion said he thought bin Laden would die of natural causes, but was glad to hear he was killed by American military forces.

"God bless our soldiers who are so brave and congratulations to the president," Lupion said.

Others were more skeptical about the death announcement. Two residents, who did not wish to give their names, said that they thought it was a hoax because of the President's statement about bin Laden's body being put in the ocean.

Resident Earl LeGrande Jr. hopes the news will bring closure to the families who lost loved ones in Sept. 11, but questions if this will actually bring the soldiers home and how it will help the hurting American economy.

"I really don't know how this is going to help the country to go forward necessarily when we are in such turmoil," LeGrande said.
