Call for Volunteers

Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor announces opportunities for volunteers. The museum is especially interested in hearing from potential volunteers with experience in retail selling and particularly those who would be available to staff the Museum Store on weekends.

Other opportunities are available for people who would greet visitors as they enter the museum, and those who can offer general office support.

Whether in positions that have them working with the public or assignments where they assist museum staff members, the museum’s volunteers are an invaluable component of the Museum Family. What is required for all of these volunteer positions is enthusiasm for museum work, willingness to learn and the wish to become a meaningful part of the museum’s mission of service to the community.

To find out more about volunteer opportunities at NCMA, call Director of Volunteers Nancy Barone at (516) 484-9338, ext. 31 or write to nbarone@nassaumuseum.org.
