School District Invites Nominations for Wall of Fame

The Farmingdale School District is informing the community that nominations for the 2013 Farmingdale High School’s Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony are now being accepted and will be reviewed under an extensive criteria.

Candidates for the Wall of Fame must have graduated from Farmingdale High School at least 10 years ago.

“The Wall of Fame is designed to give our current students a sense of accomplishments that were attained by our distinguished alumni,” said Farmingdale High School Assistant Principal Kathleen Keevins. “The committee goes through a thorough process every year to select exceptional candidates our community can recognize and honor.”

Candidates for the Wall of Fame must be role models to the District’s current students and have been successful in their academic pursuits. The Wall of Fame is located in the main lobby of Farmingdale High School as it features plaques of all honorees.

A nomination form may be downloaded from the District’s website, farmingdaleschools.org, or picked up in the main office of any of the District’s six schools and the Farmingdale Public Library.

The deadline for completed applications is Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
