BETHPAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION PRESENTS EAC NETWORK'S ANNUAL LUNCHEON WITH $20,000

EAC Network received a very generous donation of $20,000 in support of the agency’s 14th Annual LIGHT OF HOPE Luncheon from presenting sponsor Bethpage Federal Credit Union. The fundraiser was held on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 at the Crest Hollow Country Club and raised almost $115,000 for EAC Network’s many programs and services. “We are extremely thankful to Bethpage Federal Credit Union for their incredibly charitable donation,” stated Lance W. Elder, President and CEO of EAC Network. “Their generosity will go a long way to help sustain our programs.” During the event’s live auction, Bethpage Federal Credit Union spontaneously donated an extra pair of luxury suite tickets to a Billy Joel franchise concert at Madison Square Garden in addition to a pair of tickets already up for auction. Both prizes together raised $3,000.

The LIGHT OF HOPE Luncheon is EAC Network’s largest annual fundraising event. The event honored Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Angela S. Anton of Anton Community Newspapers, who was also a sponsor, for their service and commitment to the community.
