Catholic Athletics Camp Returns to Farmingdale in July

A Catholic athletics summer camp is returning to Farmingdale State College in July.

Now in its second year, Camp Christ will feature guest trainers, celebrity athletes and inspirational clergy participating in a three-day experience, July 7-9, for kids 13-17 years old. The camp's enrollees include teams and individuals alike.

The camp aims to "provide an annual free, unique baseball, softball, and lacrosse camp experience where kids will be able to work with the best trainers on Long Island – all under a backdrop of conveying a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith – and how the athletes might draw upon that faith during life’s trials and tribulations," according to the camp's website.
