Farmingdale Hit With About 10 Inches of Snow
Local figure is pretty typical of the region as a whole.
The National Weather Service reported Wednesday that Farmingdale area was hit with about 10 inches of snow from Tuesday's storm.
While no specific reading for Farmingdale was available from the NWS, the figures from surrounding communities were near the top recorded for Nassau County.
The top spot belonged to Oceanside, with 13 inches recorded. Generally speaking, New Jersey and Suffolk County fared worse. Manhattan's Central Park recorded 11 inches Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, the NWS said.
