Farmingdale Library Prepares for Summer Reading

Programs available for all ages beginning June 22.

The Farmingdale Public Library is already making big plans for it's 2013 Summer Reading Club that will kick-off on June 22.

The program begins on June 22 with a series of reading programs designed for specific age groups. They include:

  • “Dig Into Reading” this Summer! Ages: Birth - Entering 5th grade. Nine weeks of great programs, raffles, and contests too for young people. . Check inside our newsletter to see some of our fabulous summer programs.
  • "Summer Reading Club Festival Kickoff: All ages, Saturday, June 22 from 2-3 p.m. on the front lawn (adult admission ticket required, acquire at Children's room beginning at 9 a.m. June 22))  Games prizes, food, face painting, and more.
  • "Beneath the Surface Summer Reading Club" Entering Gr. 6-12: Nine week program: raffles, contests, with 20 packets randomly selected to contain a Dave and Busters gift card.
  • "Just for Adults." Groundbreaking Reads this summer at the library! Weekly raffles, contests, special displays, fun activities, and more .

To sign up, proof of residency in UFDS #22 is required.
