Farmingdale Residents Finish Triathlon

Athletes biked, swam and ran in the Runner's Edge TOBAY Triathlon and Tri-Relay in Oyster Bay.

Farmingdale residents showed off their strength and endurance - swimming, biking and running  over the weekend at the Runner's Edge TOBAY Triathlon and Tri-Relay in Oyster Bay Saturday.

Kevin Brennan, 32, placed first in the male’s Clydesdale1 Open division, with an overall time of 01:17:11.24. Terri Ruane 44, placed third in the female Athena2 Master division, with an overall time of 01:48:47.02. Bill Coleman, 41, placed third in the Clydesdale2 Master division, with an overall time of 01:20:26.19

Paul Cutter, 33, placed fifth in the male ages 30-34 division, with an overall result of 01:10:24.18. Helen Paone, 35, placed second in the female ages 35-39 division, with an overall result of 01:18:28.59. Chris Daily, 54, placed third in the male, ages 50-54 division, with an overall result of 01:10:52.39.

The overall female winner was Karen Pompay, 42, of Garden City, with a time of 01:06:01.57. The overall men's winner was Tom Eicklberg, 24, of Cortland, NY, who finished the triathlon in 00:56:17.83.
