NICE Adds New Route to Jones Beach From Hicksville

NICE Bus will offer two routes to Jones Beach beginning Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 25.

The Nassau Inter-County Express will operate:

  • The new n87 departing from Hicksville LIRR to Jones Beach bathhouses and Central Mall, with stops at Newbridge Road, East Meadow, and Wantagh.
  • The non-stop n88 departing from Freeport LIRR station to the Jones Beach State Park’s two bathhouses and the Central Mall.
Weekend-only service begins Memorial Day Weekend thru June 23. Daily service starts on Monday, June 24, and runs thru Labor Day, Sept. 2. The one-way cash fare is $2.25 and the MetroCard fee is $2.50.

Additionally, NICE will be offering service back to Freeport, via the n88, after major concert events at the the Nikon Jones Beach Theater.
