Patch Guide: Fall Craft Fairs

The fall season is one of the best times to check out local arts and craft fairs on Long Island.

Description: The festivities include a craft fair, a parade, fireworks, a barbeque, carnival rides and much more. Additionally, the is holding its annual Yard Sale where used items will be for sale, including household goods, toys and crafts, including the church's best-selling wooden roses and figurines courtesy of Nicole’s Flower & Gift Shop. During the weekend the Farmingdale Fire Department will also be fundraising to help the family of Valentina Bravin, .

Hours: Thursday-Friday opens at 6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday at 9 a.m.

MILL NECK MANOR FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL
Gold Coast Estate, Bayville

Description: Located on the grounds of a historic Gold Coast estate between Oyster Bay and Bayville, the festival, also known as the Apple Fest, is celebrating its 50th year. The festival features ripe apples, handmade country crafts, seasonable produce, grilled bratwurst, and children’s activities. Visitors will find a wide variety of cheeses in the Cheese House, and plenty of mouth-watering baked goods, jellies, fudge and strudels. The Country Store also features a full-line of famous Karl Ehmer wurst and bacon products.

ISLIP TOWN APPLE FESTIVAL
Broadway Ave and Montauk Highway, Sayville

Description: Craft vendors, scarecrows, pumpkins, and an apple pie stand will be available. Many craft vendors from several states will be on hand displaying and selling woodcrafts, floral crafts, needlework, and culinary items, as well as holiday crafts. Entertainment, including the band Southbound, quilt, yarn and woodcarving demonstrations, and pony rides will take place throughout the day,

SECOND ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR AT NESCONSET
301 Smithtown Blvd, Nesconset

Description: This craft fair is presented by Cleary School For The Deaf. Booths will be featured both indoors and outdoors; arts and crafts for sale

FALL FESTIVAL IN SMITHTOWN
St. Thomas of Canterbury on Brooksite Drive, Smithtown

Description: Eighth annual craft and new merchandise festival. The outdoor craft fair and fall festival sets up on the church's spacious lawn area. Activities for children include pumpkin painting and scarecrow making. There will also be a baked goods table and a raffle table.

HARVEST FESTIVAL AT MASTIC BEACH

Brookhaven Town Park, Mastic Beach

Description: Annual festival at the village gazebo includes a bake sale, roasted corn, pumpkin decorating, hot dogs, baked clams, face painting, craft vendors, flower sale, ice cream, music, and farmer's market. All profits to be used to fund the many community activities of the Pattersquash Creek Civic Association.

SYOSSET FALL FESTIVAL
Syosset Railroad Station

Description: Presented by the Syosset Woodbury Rotary Club, this fall festival features an array of arts and crafts, gift items, antiques, and food.
