Using Our 'Boards' Can Get Your Organization Noticed

Get free access to Farmingdale Patch and get your news out to the community.

Patch's new feature: the "Boards," can get your organization or civic group noticed, and you are in control of the story. It's a free electronic bulletin board, interactive and open to the entire community.

Special thanks this week to Dennis Winkler, who posted about Farmingdale's Annual Baseball Day (see it here.) And a shout-out to Amy, who posted about the need for extras to work with filmmakers shooting in Nassau County June 27-July 3rd (See it here.)

"The Boards' is an easy, quick way to get your group or special event the front-page treatment it deserves.

Posting is easy. Sign in as a Farmingdale Patch user. Click "Boards" here, choose a category and upload your information and photos. Hit submit and watch your story appear on Patch. For example, this is a great week to post a photo of your graduate and wish him or her congratulations. Next week is great for posting about Independence Day events.

We'd love to hear from you and your group.
