Visually Impaired Team Bowls For Fundraiser

Fund times Saturday Farmingdale Lanes.

The Long Island Bombers, a beep baseball team for the visually impaired, held a Bowl-A-Thon Saturday at Farmingdale Lanes.

The event helped support the team’s finances for the 2013 season and trip to the NBBA World Series in Columbus, Ga.

"It was a great team effort, truly a successful fundraiser," said Ted Fass, Bombers executive director. "Everyone had a great time. Thank you to everybody participated. It helps the Bombers by allowing us to be able to pay for almost a third of us to go to the World Series."
