As Storm Approaches, Long Island's Stunning Majesty Revealed

At Centre Island Beach on Long Island Sound, the storm's approach is beautiful and ominous.

The from the south and west painted a majestic picture on the northern shores of the Town of Oyster Bay Saturday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has for the Metropolitan Area Saturday, in effect until 9 p.m. Reported twisters have been spotted near Breezy Point and Canarsie Saturday.

Meanwhile, Long Islanders can expect spectacular cloud formations, high winds and warm temperatures until the storm passes through later Saturday.
