Farmingdale Author Talks About Writing Career
John Hanc, marathon runner and fitness writer, takes on local history stories
Farmingdale author John Hanc has been touring Long Island recently talking about his books.
Patch caught up with Hanc at one of his recent appearances speaking before the Bay Shore Historical Society about one of his latest books "Jones Beach An Illustrated History."
Hanc is also an avid marathon runner and has written about his experiences in countless articles and 10 books. One of his most memorable marathons took place in Antarctica, he wrote about it in his book "The Coolest Race on Earth."
