Art Supervisors Association 7th Annual Nassau All-County Art Exhibition at Adelphi

Why Go:  See this exhibition that honors 1128 kindergarten through twelfth grade students who have demonstrated excellence in a wide variety of two-dimensional visual art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics, and photography. This year, 384 art educators from 212 schools in 39 Nassau County school districts, submitted student artwork for this prestigious exhibit.

Team Galluzzo Benefit at Hibernian Hall in Babylon (for Jeff Galluzzo, Assistant Principal at Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School)

Why Go:  Help the family of Jeff Galluzzo by raising money for expenses and medical bills.  He was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer, has had chemotherapy, had his right lung removed and will be getting radiation.
