Shannon’s Fight: The Exhibition for Remission

Where:  , 95 Woodward Pkwy., Farmingdale

Why Go:
  Shannon was diagnosed with Rhabdoid Cancer, a very rare form of cancer, and is currently beginning her treatment at Cohen's Childrens Hospital.  The fundraiser will be an evening of fun for all as they come together to support Shannon and help raise money to assist her continuing treatment. The evening will consist of a Kempo Exhibition, showcasing advanced forms, weapons, the demo team and a few exhibition matches. There will also be a a live band performing, called Captain Jack, a Billy Joel cover band. 
Pricing:
  $50 donation per ticket for adults and $25 per kid. Family packs available for $125, family of three and up.  Private, corporate and small business donations will be accepted prior to and during the event.

Karaoke Night Fundraiser at Knights of Columbus 2204

Where: 1 Morton St., Farmingdale
When:
July 23, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go:
  Come enjoy a great night out plus check out the Knights of Columbus Hall and beautiful back yard which is available to rent for your next party or event. Also come meet the Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes of Farmingdale and consider becoming a member.  Nonperishable items for St. Kilian’s Outreach Food Pantry will also be collected (bin is in Lobby of Knights of Columbus Hall).
Pricing:
  $15 includes bar snacks, hot dogs, beer, wine and soda, coffee and dessert. Advance tickets please.

Tony Orlando at John Burns Town Park
