Building Bridges at LI Children’s Museum
Where: , 11 Davis Ave, Garden City
When: March 19, 3 p.m.
Why Go: Kids ages 5 and up can learn how engineers construct models of bridges and discover the various scientific principles of building bridges. They will watch a clip of a “Cyberchase” episode as they test the performance of their own models using their knowledge of geometry and space.
Pricing: $3 fee with museum admission
The Brooklyn Film Festival's "Circus Fun" at LI Children's Museum
Where: , 11 Davis Ave, Garden City
When: March 19 & March 20, 2 p.m.
Why Go: Film festival for ages 3 and up which is filled with short films about the circus. Kids can view the antics of “Mr. Shape,” experience a love story between a clown and dancer in “Sideshow,” go on an adventure with “Ruby Who?” and more.
Pricing: $4 with museum admission, $8 theater only
Temple B’nai Torah Skating Party at United Skates of America
Where: , 1276 Hicksville Rd, Seaford
When: March 20, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Why Go: Your kids will have a great time rollerskating.
Pricing: $8.50 (includes admission and skate rental). There will be no charge for non-skaters. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event. No tickets will be sold at the door. For additional information on buying tickets, please call Randy Frances at 227-1915.
Future Stars Summer Camps - Open House

Why Go: This is a perfect opportunity to tour the facilities, meet the staff, and take advantage of enrollment savings. For ages 6 to 16.

Why Go: Kids in grades K-2 will have Science on the Move teach them about their senses through the use of games and activities.

Why Go: Kids in grades 3-5 will learn if it is magic or science. They can discover the science behind many illusions and make their own illusion to take home.
