Schedule Announced for Columbus Day Weekend Festival

Big plans in the works for the 25th revival of the downtown celebration.

The Farmingdale Fire Department has announced the entertainment schedule for the 25th annual Columbus Day celebration, which begins a week from Thursday:

Carnival – Thursday and Friday, Oct. 10 & 11: 6 – 11 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 12 & 13: Noon – 11 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 14 Noon – 6 p.m.

Street Fair - Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 & 13 - 10 a.m.

Petting Zoo during Craft Fair.

Parade – Sunday, Oct. 13 5 p.m. (Main Street)

Fireworks – Sunday, Oct. 13 10 p.m. (Howitt Field)

Live Music/Bands

Friday, Oct. 11th 9-11 p.m. : Journey cover band “Anyway You Want It.”

Saturday Oct. 12, 2 to 4 p.m. "Farmingdale School of Rock."

Saturday, Oct. 12 7– 11 p.m.: “Superbad”

Sunday, Oct 13 6– 11 p.m.: “The Electric Dudes”
