Howitt Middle School Hosts 6th Grade Orientation
An annual event that aims to help Farmingdale students get acclimated with their new surroundings.
Howitt Middle School in Farmingdale recently welcomed incoming students and parents to its sixth grade orientation program. The annual event aims to help new students get acclimated with their surroundings before the start of the new school year.
Students and parents were shown a slide-show presentation, participated in an informational question and answer session and toured the building for the first time. Howitt Middle School administrators, teachers, support staff and the PTA Membership Committee were in attendance to ensure that students and parents had an enjoyable experience.
