Silver Alert Issued For Missing Farmingdale Man

Main Street resident, 38, gone for a week now.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Farmingdale man who suffers from cognitive disorders and depression and has gone missing.

Nassau County Police issued the alert Saturday for Scott V. Gerold, 38, of Farmingdale. Gerold is in need of his medications, authorities said.

He was last seen almost on Saturday June 15 at 207 Main St., Farmingdale, in an upstairs apartment. Eyewitnesses told Patch that police were in the vicinity of that apartment Saturday afternoon.

Police reported they did not know where Gerold may have been going.

He is described as a white male, 5'-6" tall, about 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

If you can assist in locating Gerold, contact police at 911.
