The President of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, was honored with a proclamation by Mayor Ralph Ekstrand at the Farmingdale Village Board meeting Monday night.
Podolski has served on the chamber for five years and dedicated four years to serving on the Downtown Revitalization Committee.
"This is a total honor and I am so pleased to have been part of the Downtown Revitalization Committee," Podolski said.
"For any residents out there you have no idea how hard these people work to prepare that plan and pave the way for the future of Farmingdale," she said "I look forward to seeing great things that can happen in Farmingdale."
