The Library Café, in the center of Farmingdale, is a casually upscale American bar and restaurant.  The centerpiece of this literary hangout, built in 1907, is a top shelf, full-mirrored bar towering over two stories spanning 25-feet, accessible by a vintage library ladder.  It is one of eight restaurants owned by Lessing’s, one of the most recognizable names in food service and catering on New York’s Long Island.
