Farmingdale's Best: Chicken Wings Winner Is…

Find out who won the Patch title of Farmingdale's Best Chicken Wings.

Last week, Patch asked readers for which business served the best chicken wings in town.

After days of voting, Farmingdale wing fans ultimately selected as the place to find Farmingdale’s Best Chicken Wings in 2012.

"Changing Times has quite possibly the best wings I've ever had in my life," reader  said in the comments. "You'll be delighted by the crispy skin and perfect char and fall off the bone tenderness, all covered in their wing sauce, the perfect combination of sweetness, tang, and heat. It just doesn't get any better than this."

Changing Times won the poll with 76 votes (or 58 percent of all votes cast). Rival contender Croxley Ales received 22 votes (17 percent) and Wings Over Farmingdale received 20 votes (15 percent). The businesses featured in the poll were nominated earlier last week when Patch

Commenter  said he chose Changing Times "hands down" and  said he's been "going there for over 20 years." Others praised them for buying their meat from  on Main Street.

On the Changing Times menu there are Wing Dings (spicy, batter-dipped wings served in bbq sauce) in addition to buffalo and terriyaki wings, all served with homemade bleu cheese dressing. During sporting events there are often wing specials paired with drinks and "wings to go" specials.
