Hooters Reopens in Farmingdale

Restaurant and bar renovated inside and out.

After a long break, Hooters of Farmingdale reopened last night under new management.

The remodeled location at 25 Smith St. includes a spruced-up interior and exterior, several high-definition televisions and a game room.

“We are excited to bring the iconic Hooters brand back to the Farmingdale area,” said Dave Henninger, chief marketing officer, Hooters of America. “This new design concept and reinvigorated look and feel exemplifies the future of Hooters.

Eight months after the Smith St. location was closed and rebranded as Bud’s Ale House, Hooters will return to the same building and more entertainment options, Colin P. Parker, Director of Operations for franchisee Hooters of New England/New York, said last month. Much of the former staff is returning.

Guests will notice the centralized location of the bar area. The bar highlights a full range of liquor, beer and wine offerings for guests. To accompany the full range of bar options, this location is offering a two-for-one draft program every Tuesday on every draft in house.

Hooters of Farmingdale is located at 25 Smith St., just off Route 110 and across from the main entrance to Farmingdale State College. The firm said it is accepting applications for new employees.

"We hope that local customers will celebrate this remodel as the ideal environment to kick back and relax after work, get together to view their favorite sports team and enjoy a delicious meal with their family,” Henninger said.
