No. 60: Stop & Shop's Saturday Big Blue Tailgate Party

Today at noon, Woodbury's supermarket will kickoff its third annual event to get us into the Super Bowl spirit.

For this month's 100 Things to do in Syosset we are getting geared up to celebrate the Super Bowl by heading over to Stop & Shop in Woodbury this Saturday from 12 noon until 4pm.

Come hungry to sample dips, chips, and bits. It is here where you can try out nine varieties of wings, from teriyaki style to zings, loaded with heat.

Various treats from their array of platters will also be on display for the tasting: franks, kielbasa, tomato and mozzarella platters, devilled egg trays, cheese platters, football shaped platters, cocktail franks, ribs, meatballs, chicken nuggets, shrimp Platters, appetizer platters, clams, crab cakes, shrimp cakes, vegetable platters, salsa, guacamole, fruit platters, Luau bowls, and sandwich trays.

As the official supermarket of the New York Giants, you can find many themed products from floral arrangements and cupcakes to football shaped balloons and cakes all decorated with the logo of the team we are rooting for.

If you need to find an associate or ambassador, look for someone dressed in team spirit-wear. No need to fumble around with what to do, the staff will be on hand to help place orders for your parties as well as guide you on how to tackle ways to create the best spread to cheer on a favorite New York team.

This event has been such a success for the Woodbury store, Stop & Shop is now offering them company-wide.

So, as you are doing a countdown for the Big Game, come by to get some fun fan-filled ideas for the big day.
