Super Bowl 2012: Places to Watch in Farmingdale

Restaurants and bars are hosting events for the big game.

Are you planning to watch the Super Bowl in Farmingdale?

You should be: You'll be able to watch the game next to a former Giants player and get to pee on the face of the Patriot's quarterback.

Whether either of those options appeal to you, many nearby restaurants, bars and organizations are turning their venues into places to watch the New York Giants face the New England Patriots this Sunday.

Watch the game with Sean Landeta, a punter who played almost half of his career for the New York Giants, winning two championship rings in Super Bowl XXI and Super Bowl XXV. Kodiak's has three separate bars and HDTVs all around.

Before Landeta hits Kodiak's, he's hosting a pre-game tailgate party at the Nutty Irishman from 2 to 5:30, where there will be $2 burgers and hot dogs and free soup. During the game, there's two-for-one Bud Light bottles and $15 beer towers. (This is also where the bathroom urinals )

A tent has already been set up outside for the tailgate party, which includes a free barbeque in addition to wings and beer specials all day.

The restaurant is hosting its first ever Super Bowl party.  For $35 per person, gratuity not included, fans get unlimited beer and wine, hot and cold buffet with Buffalo wings, Sicilian wings, penne a la vodka, Italian hero, Caesar salad and cheese platter, dessert station featuring an assortment of cookies and pastries; and Super Bowl XLV giveaways including a pair of Atomic Skis at halftime and hats, key chains and shirts during the game.  Reservations in advance are required.
