Uva Wine & Spirits Now Open on Main Street: It was only the latest of a series of grand openings in Farmingdale in recent months as part of a downtown revival. That would include DiVine Olive on Main Street, the new La Bottega, and the Reopening of Hooters off Route 110 in East Farmingdale, among others.

After 37 Years on Main Street, Whirlin'Disc to Close: The business remains in place, but by mail order only. Another landmark business, Bollingers, is Closing for Lengthy Renovations.
