Valley National Bank’s Thomas Iadanza Honored by ACLD

The Enviable Life Ball will draw more than 350 corporate leaders and others to the Crest Hollow Country Club in May

Valley National Bank’s Thomas Iadanza will be honored by ACLD at its annual Enviable Life Ball in May, organizers announced Thursday.

Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, Inc., headquartered in Bethpage at 807 South Oyster Bay Road, will hold its largest fundraising event of the year, The Enviable Life Ball at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on Thursday, May 30.

More than 350 corporate leaders, government officials, families, friends and individuals with disabilities are expected to attend this special event. The evening will include casino games, dancing, live entertainment, great food,  raffle prizes and more.

Funds raised from The Enviable Life Ball will be used directly by ACLD to help individuals with developmental disabilities increase their independence and help them to lead enviable lives. 

This year, ACLD will honor Thomas A. Iadanza, First Senior Vice President of Valley National Bank with the 2013 Corporate Award.

Also, George Singfield, ACLD’s Education Consultant will be awarded with the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Founded in 1957, the not-for-profit organization has served the needs of 3,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. ACLD employs nearly 1,000 people in the community and operates 72 different program sites across Nassau and Suffolk counties, including one in Farmingdale.
