It’s National Coffee Day Friday and 7-Eleven locations throughout Farmingdale and Massapequa will not only offer you a free cup o’ Joe, but an opportunity to weigh in on the Presidential race.
Blue cups emblazoned “Obama” sit stacked next to red ones branded “Romney,” part of what the company calls 7-Election. The cup you choose will go down as a vote for the candidate.
So what’s the tally? President Barack Obama leads nationally with 58 percent of the vote and holds 10-point edge among New Yorkers who apparently love java at 24-7 convenient stores.
