5 Things to Know This Week

A glimpse at what's happening in the Farmingdale community Feb. 20 -24.

There are many events in Farmingdale each week, but here are a few highlights in the days ahead.

1. Presidents Day Reminders:  Most banks are not open since it's a federal holiday. Post offices will also be closed and mail will not be delivered Monday. Federal and state government agencies also are closed.

2. Class: Stew Leonard's is hosting a scotch whiskey class with Ross Graham on Monday at 8 p.m.

3. Bowling Specials: There are Presidents Week bowling specials at Farmingdale Lanes this week. Take the kids on their week off.

4. Tuesday Movie: The movie matinee/evening show at the Farmingdale Public Library this week is Kismet (1944).

5. Open House: The new Kiddie Academy of Farmingdale is having open houses on Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.
